We've been receiving an increasing number of inquiries from people looking for filming locations in the Osaka Bay Area.

Whether in video or photography, the shooting location greatly influences the impression of the work. Natural light filtering through glass, a sense of openness overlooking the sea, and a smooth flow between indoor and outdoor spaces—places that possess all of these conditions are surprisingly rare.

This month, we'll be sharing events that took place at ATC from the end of May to June.

Filming for the Kamen Rider movie "Agito" took place at ATC.

Since the end of last month, we have displayed a poster inside the building. ATC facilities were used as one of the filming locations for Toei's movie "Agito." After filming was completed, we wanted to share this connection with all our visitors, so we created an original ATC poster and have displayed it inside the building.

The posters are displayed on the glass surfaces of the O's Building and the ITM Building. Please try to find them when you visit. At ATC, we have long wanted to be a facility that can cooperate with the filming of movies and video productions. We believe that our track record of being selected as a filming location for movies is one of the attractions of the ATC space.

Of course, these locations aren't just for film production. ATC's commercial shooting spaces can be used for a wide range of purposes, regardless of scale, including shooting for YouTube channels, corporate PR videos, product photography, and brand visual production.

Lighting that takes advantage of the glass exterior walls and natural light. An open scene with Osaka Bay as a backdrop. Portrait photography that utilizes the open atrium space. There are views and spaces that can only be found in this place. I don't know where my next work will be born, but ATC is one of the possible locations.

What the straw mat taught me

From April to the end of May, we conducted a trial of free mat rentals at Umiere Square. The trial ended on May 31st, but we received a much greater response than anticipated during that period.

In the survey, over 8% of respondents gave high marks to the atmosphere of the plaza and the beach. On sunny days, almost everyone responded that they felt relaxed. In addition, many people spontaneously shared their impressions despite there being no special offers or prior announcements. We received many comments such as, "I would like to use it again," and "I found it by chance, but I'm glad I came."

This initiative started with an idea from a single employee. A small realization took shape, and its value was confirmed through feedback from visitors. I feel that this process itself represents what makes ATC unique.

We believe that sincerely listening to visitors' voices and continuing to challenge ourselves without being complacent with the status quo is what leads to the "creation of inspiring experiences" that ATC aims for. As I mentioned in a previous article about Seaside Terrace, the area around Umiere Plaza is gradually becoming a place where people naturally stop and spend their time as they please.

Whiskey will be gathered in late June.

The ATC Hall will host the "Whisky Festival 2026 in Osaka" on June 26th (Fri) and 27th (Sat). This year's event has been significantly revamped, and with a premium night, tasting seminars, and opportunities to interact with producers, it promises to be two unmissable days for whisky enthusiasts.

Each session will be held with a complete changeover of attendees and a limited number of participants. Following the dance festival we introduced last month , ATC Hall has a variety of events planned for this summer as well. Please check the official website for the latest information.

As a filming location. As a place to relax by the sea. As a venue for events where people can talk about their favorite things.

If you ask me what ATC is, I'm a little hesitant to answer. It's a filming location, a plaza where people can relax, and a venue for enjoying hobbies and culture. Perhaps it's because it's a place that can't be fully described in a single word. I encourage you to visit and see for yourself how it's used.
