Hello, this is Robert from the ATC Management Strategy Office. Exactly one week has passed since last week's article . This is the third installment of "ATC, Summer is in Full Swing."

There's a Polish word, "brzęczenie," which refers to that low murmur created by the overlapping sounds of insects' wings and people talking. As I walked around ATC this week, I encountered sounds that perfectly fit this description many times.

As I passed by the ATC Gallery where the Ghibli Park exhibition is being held, it was as crowded as ever. With summer vacation underway, the museum felt more lively than it has been in the last few weeks. To be honest, it's unbearably hot outside. Nevertheless, it simply makes me happy to see so many people spending their summer vacation at ATC.

A summer where you can meet beetles and stag beetles from all over the world.

From August 1st to 23rd, the "Summer Vacation ATC Insect Exhibition" is being held in a special venue on the 3rd floor of the North Wing of the Oz Building. It's conveniently located across from Umie Cube. As soon as you step inside the venue, you'll hear the familiar sound of the insects. This is perhaps not surprising, considering that 24 different species of insects are on display.

The museum features a rare collection of insects, including Hercules beetles and some of the world's largest rhinoceros beetles and stag beetles. There's also a special exhibition corner showcasing insects that inhabit rural areas, where you can see longhorn beetles, stick insects, and ground beetles—insects that are no longer commonly found in urban areas.

In a special dome within the venue, you can gently touch approximately 200 rhinoceros beetles during the first half of the event (August 1st to 15th) and approximately 100 stag beetles during the second half (August 16th to 23rd). There are also workshops where you can try your hand at making authentic specimens, making it a perfect destination for families struggling with summer vacation projects.

A campaign is also underway where 100 people each day who post on social media at the venue will receive a "Sparkling Insect" as a gift. It's designed to make you want to take pictures of the insects and share them with someone.

Speaking of personal records, my high score in ATC Bay Runner.

"ATC Bay Runner," which I released two weeks ago , has been quietly enjoyed by many players ever since. I myself have been playing it repeatedly whenever I have free time, and my current high score is 172 points. To be honest, I never thought I would get this serious about it.

The "Congratulations on clearing the game!" message that appears after defeating the boss of the third stage, Seaside Terrace, always makes me a little happy, no matter how many times I see it. The LINE coupon is also displayed correctly each time.

On August 8th and 9th, there will be a "Jellyfish Festival" at ATC Hall.

Looking ahead a bit, on August 8th and 9th, the "After Expo Jellyfish Festival 'Celebrating Life'" will be held at ATC Hall. This project originated from the jellyfish pavilion at the Osaka-Kansai Expo , and it seems like you can enjoy music, talks, and interactive booths throughout the day. For more details, it's best to check the official website, as I myself haven't fully grasped all the details yet. However, one thing is certain: ATC is shaping up to be quite lively this summer.
