■ What the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion at the Osaka-Kansai Expo aims to achieve

Under the theme of "Designing a Future Society Where Life Shines," the 2025 Japan International Exposition will be held in Yumeshima, Osaka (Osaka-Kansai Expo). At the Osaka-Kansai Expo, Osaka Prefecture and City will exhibit a local pavilion, and under the theme of REBORN, they plan to let visitors enjoy the future urban life of Osaka in 2050, centered around an anti-aging ride where visitors can experience a journey to become 10 years younger, and a hospital of the future where they can experience the medical care of 2050. This lecture will introduce the aims of the Osaka-Kansai Expo and the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion.

■Towards the realization of a "future society" spurred by the Osaka-Kansai Expo

The Osaka-Kansai Expo is a major national project that will drive Japan's growth after the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games and lead to sustainable development. As the host city, Osaka must not only ensure the success of the Expo, but also ensure that it is not just a one-off event, but that its impact and legacy are maximized to serve as a catalyst for the growth and development of Kansai and Osaka after the Expo. We will introduce the current efforts and future schedule as we approach 1000 days until the opening.
