This aquarium features a huge collection of rare stag beetles and rhinoceros beetles from all over the world, including Japanese species! The live beetle exhibit includes the world's largest species, the Hercules beetle, and the world's heaviest species, the elephant beetle. There's also a "touch corner" where you can interact with Japanese rhinoceros beetles. The specimen exhibit will feature three specimens of the extra-large Hercules beetle, which were recognized as the No. 1 (bred) large rhinoceros beetle in 2009, 2010, and 2011 by the insect magazine "BE-KUWA." Come and see these impressive stag beetles and rhinoceros beetles up close, with their long horns and massive jaws!
*The types of insects and event details may change due to unforeseen circumstances.
